Process of Pewter Lapel Pins

Pewter (Lead and Tin Alloy) Cast items begin making a rubber mold that contains several copies of the 3D design depend on the size of your pin. The mold is spun at a high revolution rate as molten metal is added to a port on the mold.  When the metal cools, the mold is opened to reveal your pin design.

From here each pin is polished to remove burs, spurs, and any surface defects.  Your pin is then plated in your choice of metal finishes after stuck selected attachment. Further enhancement options might also include adding brilliant enamel colors.
