Process of Bronze Cast (The Lost Wax Method)

Bronze cast products are not easy to be made. First of all, our very talent modeler creates an original model of gesso, then use this model to make a silicone mold for copying more wax models depends on the quantity you need. The reason what we have to do these steps is each wax model can be made only one masterpiece, so we need many wax models if we need to mass-produce.

After all copied wax models are done, each one is wrapped in clay and sprinkled with sand individually and wait for all of them to be solid. The solid wrapped wax models are then fired at 900 degree centigrade to make the wax melted out from the spout of the mold leaving the inside of the earthen mold empty.

The following step is pouring the melted bronze into the earthen mold. When the metal cools, each earthen mold is broken and removed to reveal your item design and polish each piece to remove any surface defects, then plated in your choice of metal finishes.
