Process of Offset Printed Lapel Pins

CMYK stands for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Black and is a color model in offset printing for full-color documents, such printing uses inks of these four basic colors, it is often called Four-Color Process printing as well. Using the same thickness (0.8mm) of metal as our Etched pins, the image of your design is transferred from a photographic negative onto the surface of a large sheet of metal.

Next, the large sheets of metal are then baked in an oven at 150 degrees centigrade to seal the inks. After cooling the sheet are trimmed to reveal the outside shaped of your lapel pin and plating it to your specific requirement.  Finally, a clear protective epoxy coating is applied to the surface to protect the colors from scratches.
