![]() Die Struck Soft Enamel Lapel Pins After completed the process of Die Struck without sandblasted or textured look, the recessed areas are then filled with the enamel colors. Colors are inserted by hand, one at a time, using different sized syringes. Excess colors are wiped off the raised metal surfaces. These Pantone based paints allow the selected colors of your pins to show up in the recesses of the pin, leaving the raised polished metal areas slightly above the color giving a 3D effect. The pins are then fired at 130 to 150 degrees centigrade in oven to seal the colors. Once done, fine metal detailing and high-quality finishing give you the distinguished look that you expect. An optional epoxy protective coating can then be applied to protect the color enamels from fading or cracking over time. |
